We are seeking compassionate and enthusiastic individuals to join our team at Children’s Learning Center. As a Child Care Worker, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for the children under your care.

Your dedication will play a pivotal role in nurturing their overall growth, cultivating a genuine enthusiasm for learning, and fostering a sense of wonder and exploration.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and compassionate care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities, including educational games, arts and crafts, storytelling, and outdoor play.
• Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere where children can build social skills, develop friendships, and explore their creativity.
• Document children’s progress, behaviors, and developmental milestones, to communicate this information to parents or guardians.
• Administer basic first aid and care for minor injuries, while promptly notifying supervisors and parents of any incidents.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
• Create a structured daily routine that balances active play, learning, rest, and meals.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
• Adhere to all safety, health, and sanitation guidelines as outlined by the center’s policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in early childhood development or related field is a plus.
• Previous experience working with children in a childcare, preschool, or educational setting is preferred.
• Strong understanding of child development principles and the ability to tailor activities to various age groups.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for nurturing children’s growth and well-being.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Basic knowledge of first aid procedures and the ability to handle minor medical situations.
• Organizational skills to manage classroom activities and maintain a tidy environment.
• Flexibility and adaptability to respond to changing needs and situations.
• Background check and clearances as required by local regulations.
